Job summary
Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust serves a population of 750,000 in an integrated health care environment. During 2023 we will move our two existing acute hospitals into the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital which is scaled with the largest ED in Europe and will host all our acute care. Two treatment centres at Sandwell and City hospitals will host planned care services and we will continue to provide a wide range of community services which accounts for half our patient contacts.
The portfolio of the contract management team includes the Engie Estates Hard FM contract, the Birmingham Treatment Centre PFI, Q-Park parking contracts, EV Charging contracts and leases and licences covering our community estate. These total in excess of £16 million per annum.
Main duties of the job
Part Time but may consider full time
Leases and licences for our community estate have a mix of short and long term property agreements and cover over 25 properties within the local area. You will build successful working relationships with landlords, tenants (our Community Services teams and YHP GPs) and solicitors and will attend building user group meetings and also the Local Estates Forum (with other local NHS providers).
This role also involves financial management of medical gases contracts with BOC and input into the Trust's annual ERIC reporting (NHS Estates Returns Information Collection).
