Main duties of the job
You will be managing a range of technical equipment across the Prosthetic Service
This will involve managing quality assessment, maintenance, servicing and repair processes of the Services technical, medical, clinical and assessment specialist equipment. This will include medical devices management, Health & Safety (H&S), risk assessment (RA), risk management, equipment reviews, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Moving & Handling (inanimate objects) (M&H), Electrical medical equipment (EME), Lifting operation and lifting equipment (LOLER), PAT testing and Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Working in partnership with the Lead Prosthetic and Clinical Support Technician to share / gain knowledge and skills within the technical team; and support face-to-face patient technical repair clinics
Working across and liaising with the full multi-disciplinary team to share knowledge and skills for clinical, medical, patient assessment and engineering equipment
