An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Environmental Assistant to join Woodchurch Ward working 9-5 Monday to Friday with a small degree of flexibility. No weekend or night work.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent communication skills; you will come into contact with service users so good interpersonal skills are required.
You will be required to ensure the ward area is kept tidy, patient laundry is part of this role also to keep patient areas clear. The ordering of stock is completed on a weekly basis, and carrying out environmental checks and audits.
You will be required to work alongside HCA's in clinical role with relevant training updates.At Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust we understand the vital role played by cleaning staff within the NHS. Main duties of the job
The Clinical Environmental Assistant will be a team member involved in the provision of patient centred service. They will work within an inpatient multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to maintain a safe and clean environment and provide a comfortable atmosphere for the patients and carers.
You will maintain clinical and non-clinical areas ensuring high standards are met in relation to essential tasks. Providing some patient care alongside HCA's under the supervision of RN's
