Job summary

Working in conjunction with Mental Health Teams to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Salary: £20,270 - £21,318 per annum pro rata*(*£8,918.80 - £9,379.92 per annum)?

27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) pro rata

Hours of work: 16.5 hours per weekMonday, Tuesday & Wednesday 16.00 - 19.30 (4pm to 7.30pm)Thursday & Friday: 16.00 - 19.00 (4pm - 7pm)

To be a team member, maintaining a patient focused service across clinical and non clinical areas, ensuring high standards of cleaning whilst adhering to National Cleaning Standards within the NHS.

Main duties of the job

Follow daily cleaning schedules in agreed time scales to meet National Cleaning Standards.

Follow Colour Coding requirements.

Ensure COSHH risk assessments and procedures are followed at all times.

Carry out cleaning in accordance with Trust methods/ procedures.

Remove rubbish to designated collection points following Trust procedures.
