Working as part of a team to provide a high standard Cleaning

Domestic Assistant

Annual leave allowance starting at 27 days per year (when working full time) + Bank Holidays.Access to the fantastic NHS pension scheme.Eligibility for the Blue Light Card (discount service for the NHS, providing members with thousands of amazing discounts online and on the high street).

Domestic Assistant to cover Monday - Friday

To work alongside current part time domestic who covers 4 days.

Main duties of the job

o The daily shift plan is completed in the agreed time scale and cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines.o Cleaning is carried out in accordance with recognised approved Trust methods using approved products.o To complete weekly departmental performance monitoring to achieve and maintain the Trust's own standards.o To be responsible for maintaining ward stocks of cleaning materials and equipment and ensure that additional items are requested in good time using the appropriate Hotel Service's paperwork either on the computer or hard-copy.o To ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.o Removal of rubbish to designated collection pointso To take appropriate care of your own health and safety and that of other persons who may be affected by your own actions, and to carry out your responsibilities in ways that ensures a safe and healthy place of work.o To be aware of the value of working within a supportive team when working in challenging environments.o Attend appropriate training sessions not necessarily held at the place of work and at times not rostered to work.o To undertake other duties and tasks at the discretion of the supervisor, Hotel Services Manager.
