Job summary

We are looking for a person to take on the role of Information Governance and Records Management Officer, working within a fast paced department as part of the Information Security team.

Due to a relocation of the office the training for the role may take place within Sittingbourne.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing full administrative and clerical support to the Information Governance and Records Management Department. They will provide a varied and wide range of Information Governance and Records Management functions relating to confidentiality, information sharing and information security. They will also process requests for information under both Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act and associated legislative frameworks. The successful applicant should have proven administrative expertise, ideally within an Information Governance environment. Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to communicate with tact, understanding and discretion across all levels of staff and with members of the public.
