Job summary
The Programme Director will drive the design, delivery and implementation of the system provider collaborative, agreeing priorities with the Provider Collaborative Board, which will include the system's six Provider chief executives (CEOs) and Chairs.
Face to face only interviews will be held on 2nd November 2023.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Director will support the CEOs to ensure the appropriate governance, structures and process are in place to ensure delivery of the priorities identified. They will also be responsible for managing the risks identified and developing mitigations to manage those risks.
The Programme Director will be responsible for ensuring that the Provider Collaborative (PC) has the appropriate resource in place to support delivery of the workstreams identified. The post-holder will work closely with the Integrated Care System (ICS) and health and care partnerships to ensure resource alignment where opportunities exist for system efficiencies
The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring effective engagement with all system providers, including staff, communities, carers and patients.
The Programme Director will support the Board and workstreams to develop effective communication with each of the three individual PCs and across the PCs as a whole. There will also need to be effective communication in place with the ICS. This will also enable the sharing of good practice so lessons can be learned by each PC where relevant.
The post-holder will implement effective programme management for all workstreams, ensuring effective reporting to the P C Board, reporting on progress, key milestones and risks.
