Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administrator to join the CQC rated 'Outstanding' Forensic Service. The role will be supporting the visiting GP service (who attend the unit on a weekly basis) administratively, to work in an efficient manner and be the liaison between them and the various wards/units they visit.
This varied role will include:Acting as a liaison between the GP and the wards; chasing up clinical and administrative queries.Acting as a key contact ensuring the team remain linked to the GP and answer their queries.

Ideally educated to GCSE Level in Math and English and/or NVQ level 3 / RSA3 (or equivalent) .This post is subject to a six month probationary period for candidates external to the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. This varied role will include:Ensuring payment to the GP is made in a timely fashion using our requisition system (SBS) and liaising with the payments team where required to make this happen.Booking/minuting meetings between GP and staff as required, including a quarterly contract meeting between GP and service managers.Monitoring the CPA review timescales and ensuring that required GPs reports for patients are provided on time.Coordinating Physical health referrals from the ward to the GP and updating progress notes on RiO.Monitoring and booking patients in for national screening programmes with GP.General typing up of reports and administrative support for the visiting GP.Setting time slots and organising clinics.Booking GPs onto appropriate training/learning events.Acting as link for Rio (patient record system) training of GP staff.The successful applicant is able to:Exhibit the Trust Values in all they doUse Microsoft Office competently with an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.Has good time managementIs able to lone work as well as work as part of a teamHas excellent attention to detailHas a professional and flexible attitudeHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs able to prioritise workloads and work to agreed timescales.Is innovativeAble to problem solve
