Ruby ward are looking for an enthusiastic occupational therapist to join their therapy team. It is an exciting time to join Ruby ward as next year the ward will be moving to a purpose built state of the art ward in Maidstone (ME16 9QQ).

KMPT offers an extensive preceptorship program for newly qualified staff.

Main duties of the job

As Occupational Therapists we are positioned to shape the culture of inpatient settings to promote a therapeutic day that co-exists to enhance therapeutic interventions and recovery focused ethos on the units.

"Applicants are required to be a car drivers and have access to a car for home visits and assessments, unless supported by the Equality Act whereby the Trust will be expected to make reasonable adjustments for the successful candidate"

Please be aware, although we are a Mental Health Ward, all staff are expected to wear PPE in line with Government Guidelines.
