Job summary
You will support the ICT Service Manager (Enterprise Architect) and the rest of the Digital Services Senior Management team to create, document, implement and maintain formal processes and procedures that directly support the departmental objectives. These processes and procedures will ensure an excellent service that is comprehensive, efficient and consistent is provided to the departments customer base. These processes must also meet or exceed the ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 standards accreditation criteria and be regularly reviewed to ensure continuous improvement.
The Trust is looking for a Software Development Team Manager to lead the current house Software Development Team. The team has a number of ongoing projects to integrate its Central Patient Management System with other systems plus, other independent Web applications and continuing support of existing applications. We are looking for a minimum of 5 years experience in Senior Role who has experience of working with teams that use the following technologies: C# (.NET Core and Framework), TFS, Git, SSIS, SQL Server and Systems Integration via messaging types: FHIR/HL7,XML & JSON via APIs. You will be experienced in working within an Agile methodology, test driven development and ideally, will have worked within a Healthcare setting.

To manage and be accountable for the System Integration and Development within the department. This involves leading the System Integration and IT Training teams to deliver high quality support and approved projects, ensuring that milestones are achieved and deadlines are met.To work with staff at all levels of the organisation and where appropriate third parties to formally agree and secure funding to resource projects. To deal with customers and colleagues in a courteous, friendly and professional manner, which may include the diffusing of stressful situations where significant conflict and/or unreasonable demands from customers or staff require diplomacy.
