Job summary
The post holder will work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives and carers.

Main duties of the job
We are committed to the delivery of quality care in an unpredictable environment. We encourage innovation and participation in the development of new ways of working through multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve patient- focused outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to develop your acute assessment skills and work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Emergency Care Nurses, Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners, Emergency Doctors, Primary Care Doctors, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. The department is divided in different areas including Resuscitation Rooms (Green and Red), Majors, Minors and Clinical
We have a team of Practice Education nurses who work closely with the ED team. When you start with us you can expect a personalised induction plan, depending on prior experience, and we will start you on the Level 1 Emergency Care Association and Acute Floor Competencies.
