Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the paediatric physiotherapy team and the wider MDT at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. We provide acute inpatient care to children and young people from all over Sussex, and have a number of Specialist services that operate from our site. We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our friendly team for a fixed term to cover maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
Your role will include working on paediatric HDU with patients on NIV, treating medical, surgical and orthopaedic inpatients, establishing plans for long term patients as well as being the physiotherapy link for their discharges. Depending on experience there may be some neonatal responsibilities and teaching /management aspects to the post.
There would be an expectation to join thepaediatric weekend working rota and cover pre-planned overnight on calls when needed.
