Hello! My name is Beth and Im the team manager for the Core Team West in Wakefield. We have an appealing opportunity for a mental health nurse to join our service as a band 6 CPN and work alongside our existing nurses and wider multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of service users, with a range of diagnoses and needs. They will be responsible for arranging care, liaison with other and managing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments, ensuring these are done collaboratively and in a recovery focused manner. The successful candidate will also be able to offer evidence based clinical decisions and treatment options.
The successful candidate will be confident in the running of Nurse led clinics; including depot clinics and have a good knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication management.
They will take responsibility as the duty worker on a rota basis, providing support to the wider core team caseload. This may also include responding to crisis calls from the wider caseload when on the duty rota.
They will be able to offer support to other disciplines within the team and be confident in their decision making.
