Job summary

We are excited to advertise a new opportunity within Wakefield CAMHS as a Principal Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. We are looking for a committed interest in psychoanalytic thinking to improve outcomes for young people in our multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for applicants who hold experience in leadership or management. The successful candidate would:

Main duties of the job

- Provide clinical leadership of the Under 5s Pathway in Wakefield.

- Involved in the Clinical Leadership within Wakefield CAMHS more broadly

- Develop and embed an established psychotherapeutic delivery model for the Under 5s Pathway.

- Oversee provision of specialist assessment, formulation and invention and consultation for children and families / carers

- Lead service development and evaluation of the pathway and oversee quality improvements

- Offer clinical supervision and support to trainees and other staff members

- Offer consultation, teaching and training to staff both within the Trust and to external agencies to facilitate high quality multi-agency working

- Provide clinical supervision to 8A Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists

- Provide service supervision for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists in clinical training at NSCAP.
