recruiting for a Specialty Doctor to
join the Wakefield Learning Disabilities Service based at Fieldhead
Hospital, Wakefield. This role
plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and
will be an integral role within the Wakefield Learning
Disabilities Service.

Qualifications
Essential
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification form an institution listed in World Directory of Medical Schools.
Desirable
- Experience of working other medical specialties for eg: general medicine, geriatric medicine, Accident and Emergency/Casualty.
- Evidence of achievement in education, research, audit and service improvement: awards, prizes, presentations and publications.

- Post graduate qualification in Psychiatry (eg. Diploma/Masters degree or higher).

- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, leadership and team working skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a respectful and polite manner with patients/staff/carers and families.

- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 6 months of appointment.
