Job summary

Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Wakefield CAMHS is looking to recruit an experienced associate quality and governance lead.

The service is developing at a fast pace and is expanding in the community. This role is integral to ensuring that we are safe, compliant and continue to improve our quality of care.

As a member of the leadership team you will contribute to the service through joint working, training and auditing the service. You may also participate in service development/research. By joining our team you will be able to bring your wealth of knowledge and experience to our service and the wider Trust.

The post holder will work closely with the wider governance team in our Trust and will also work alongside our corporate teams and colleagues.

The successful candidate will provide the service with high quality and co-ordinated support. You will require a high standard of oral and written communication skills, the ability to apply quality improvement standards and raise governance and safety issues within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

You will work as an integral part of the leadership team and support the co-ordination of the Trusts quality, safety and risk agenda. Working alongside teams in our service you will ensure that clinical and quality governance, risk systems and processes are in place to ensure that we provide safe care. We strive for continuous improvement and learning. You will be involved in incident management, delivering and implementing quality and safety initiatives.

The post holder will support CAMHS Head of Quality and provide advice and direction to frontline staff to ensure the service is prepared for compliance, both internally and via external agencies such as the Care Quality Commission.
