Job summary
These roles are working on inpatient mental health/learning disability wards.
If you are caring and
compassionate and would like to be part of our care teams supporting patients
with mental health, learning disability and physical health conditions, we are
looking for people with a strong value base from a broad range of backgrounds
and experience.
If you have a good standard of
maths and English, equivalent to a level 1 (GCSE G or above) and have your
certificates, that’s great. If you
don’t, or don’t have your certificates, if you can reach entry level 3 on a
BKSB assessment, we will support you to undertake Functional Skills maths and
English.
We have a great apprenticeship
programme so if or when you have your maths and English, we will support you to
undertake level 2 adult care qualification.
Our Trust covers Barnsley,
Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Halifax and includes forensic services
and peripatetic workforce (expected to rotate around wards in one geographical
area gaining varied experiences).
Shortlisted candidates without
maths and English qualifications/ certificates, will be invited to a BKSB
assessment on Monday 11 July at Fieldhead, Wakefield.
If you reach entry
level 3, along with all other shortlisted candidates, you will be invited to a
Microsoft Teams interview, on Saturday 23 July or Tuesday 26 July.
