37.5 Hours Per Week.
We are looking for an individual to provide
proactive, comprehensive, and professional day to day support to the Unison
Branch and all branch officers, leading in co-ordination of branch activities
agreed by the branch committee and communication to branch staff up to date
Unison communications.
This role will involve effective
administration to the branch, supervision of branch office staff and enquires
from members, regional officers and employers.
You will be confident in your communication, you will be required to
keep various systems up to date and accurate.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for administration
of Unison Branch Office, reporting to Branch Secretary.
To be willing to learn
systems, process and procedures required by National Unison Office.
Support and inform all new
branch members on Unison procedures.
Organise and undertake
recruitment events to increase Unison membership.
Build and maintain working
partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Be able to supervise staff
