37.5 Hours Per Week
As a maintenance bricklayer/
building fabrications trades person you will be responsible for the maintenance
of various building maintenance tasks predominantly at Cheswold Park Hospital
but also other areas of the trust as the operations team service requires. You
will work closely with members of a full maintenance team of various trades and
skills. You will need to be able to prioritise work accordingly and work in the
vicinity of potentially vulnerable people and be able to adequately handle the
challenges this brings.
Providing accurate reports of
works carried out is an essential part of this role, and good communication of
further works required is vital to ensure the upkeep of the trust estate.
Successful candidates will need to be motivated and excited to provide an
essential service for the NHS in the mental Health sector. Utilising your
skills, knowledge, initiative and work ethic at South West Yorkshire
Partnership Foundation Trust will be a great contribution to ensuring our
service users are provided with the best possible care whilst they are with us.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to carry out your works to a high standard on a
daily basis.
The sort of jobs you may be involved in are:-
Building repair works
Building fabrication repair works
Basic joinery repairs, fitting shelving,
noticeboards etc
Drainage related works
Replacing lamps cleaning light fittings
Basic electrical tasks (with appropriate training)
Basic Plumbing tasks(with appropriate training)
Fire Alarm and Emergency light testing
Portable appliance testing
Assisting and working alongside other trades as
required
