Job summary

We are looking for someone with ambition and forward thinking to join our fast-paced Learning and Development team. You should have excellent communication skills and you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service by supporting our co-ordination of training and development programmes. As part of your programme co-ordination will be the requirement to update and manage learner records via the Electronic Learning Management System. The role will include excellent team working as you support visitors to our Wellbeing & Learning Centre along with the requirement to prioritise and manage your own workloads to meet deadlines.

Main duties of the job

As a Learning and Development co-ordinator you will offer a person-centred approach ensuring that the customer is always at the forefront of what you do in providing support for Learning Development across the trust.

You will be responsible to independently undertake administrative and coordination duties for Learning and Development.

You will support telephone enquiries and co-ordinate and manage administration of training and development programmes along with updating and management of records via the Electronic LearningManagement System.

Organise, and support delivery of, Learning & Development activities and events.

Provide ad-hoc support to the rest of the team as required.

Be the first point of contact for managers, employees, volunteers or external learners accessing services of the L&D Team.

To support the develop and implementation of learning plans to meet organisation and individual need, including a schedule of priorities.

Maintaining training compliance data for monthly monitoring.

Coordination of internal and externally commissioned learning and development activities.
