You will be the deputy for the Chief Nurse/Director of
Quality & Professions at Board, in the Integrated Care Systems and in our
roles within provider collaboratives. You will provide leadership to the
quality, clinical governance and professional standards agenda, have a track
record of success at a senior level in a complex organisation and experience of
partnership working in systems.

Main duties of the job
Main
duties include
Provide senior professional leadership to
the nursing workforce, including development and monitoring of standards
for mental health, learning disability and adult nursing.
Deputise for the Chief Nurse/Director of
Quality & Professions at local, regional and national level.
Ensure the provision of high quality and
timely reports to committee, Trust Board and other meetings
Operationally support and manage the
nursing, quality and professions directorate, in line with Trust values.
Ensure systems and processes are in place
to support ongoing registration with the CQC and other regulatory bodies.
Develop rigorous systems and processes to
deliver on the clinical governance agenda, playing a lead role in the
development of clinical practice and ongoing assurance of high standards
of clinical quality, safety and experience across the Trust.
Participate in regular meetings with the Finance
Manager for the directorate, identify and implement cost improvement programmes.
