An exciting opportunity has become available to support our secure CAMH team based in Wetherby Young Offenders institute.

We would like to offer this opportunity in a flexible way for staff who might be looking at progressing into managerial/ leadership roles. We are looking for a highly visible and motivated Interim Team Manager who will support and inspire our team.

You will work closely with and be supported by both clinical and operational leaders in our leadership structure to ensure the efficient delivery of high quality services. Participation in the On call rota is a part of this role. The post will offer an opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside Leeds Community Health who provide the Primary Care provision and HMPS.

Main duties of the job

The team provides assessment and individually devised care packages for the children within the service. The delivery of care is driven by the framework of Integrated Care, which is a Psychologically informed trauma approach. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the CAMHs team within Wetherby, whilst ensuring the delivery of a safe and effective service that is quality assured.

We are looking for an innovative, committed and caring practitioner with substantial post qualifying experience who possesses demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to manage change in clinical practice. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgments and regularly supervise the workload of colleagues. You will have established clinical experience at supporting individuals with complex presentations, with children and young people or in a secure environment.
