2x 37.5 hours - Internal only
Kirklees Intensive Home Based Treatment Team are seeking to recruit a
Band 7 nurse to work within their team as a clinical lead. This full-time post
is based at Folly Hall in Huddersfield and the role will cover both North and
South Kirklees.
You would be working with a well-established multidisciplinary team that
supports staff to develop both personally and professionally. We have a mix of
CPNs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Social Care Professionals and Occupational
Therapists, also CBT and TIPD leads and psychiatrists.
IHBT are an alternative to hospital admission and work closely with
service users, their carers and families to maintain someones safety in the
community. IHBT also provide a gatekeeping role for hospital admissions. You
will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team and be able
to assess risks for Working Age Adults.

JOB SUMMARY

accountability within the specialist area of practice.
To develop and maintain professional standards of nursing practice within
the specialist area.
To identify, develop and maintain an evidence base in line with the

implementation and evaluation of biopsychosocial programmes of care within the
CPA framework.
To participate in the identification, monitoring and
evaluation of clinical risk within the specialist area and taking a lead in
developing action to minimise the risk.
To participate in the Trusts appraisal system taking
responsibility for identifying and addressing own professional development
needs and influencing and being involved in the continuous professional
development of other directorate staff.
To develop and implement training packages to educate others
in relation to the specialist area of practice, providing specialist knowledge
and influencing the continued development of clinical services within the Trust.
To take a leadership role in the development and
implementation of Trust policy and procedure and adherence to NHS and NMC
guidelines.
To have an advanced level of knowledge and extensive experience
of application of the legislative framework in which mental health services are
delivered.
