We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our nursing team as a Clinical Team Leader on our Older Adult ward in Kirklees, known as Ward 19.

Ward 19 is a split gender ward based at The Priestley Unit, Dewsbury & District Hospital and is for the assessment and treatment of any form of mental health condition for service users usually over the age of 65 years.

This post is based on the male populated ward, however there may be occasions where cross working is needed on our female ward. Our multi-disciplinary ward team also comprises Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy, a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist and Consultant Psychologist.

You will be joining our other Clinical Team Leaders in showing clinical leadership and supporting our junior staff to provide the highest standard of inpatient assessment, treatment, and care in a safe, therapeutic, and least restrictive environment as possible.

Main duties of the job
