South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is currently recruiting for an experienced Admin Assistant to work on reception at The Dales inpatient unit Halifax.

The applicant will be required to work as part of a very busy admin team and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer service is essential.

The applicant must have good written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for an experienced administrator/receptionist with an NVQ or RSA Level II qualification or be able to demonstrate competency at Level II.

The applicant must be able to organise and prioritise their own workload in order to meet deadlines, with good attention to detail in an environment of competing demands.

Duties will be varied and will primarily consist of reception duties for service users and visitors to the unit. A good working knowledge of email, note taking, booking appointments, diary management, use of clinical systems and dealing with telephone calls.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be based at The Dales in Halifax. They will work as part of the reception and admin team to ensure all admin and reception duties are fulfilled.

The post holder will be required to scan and follow the paperlight process, logging documents and any other admin tasks as required. They will be responsible for directing calls and liaising with service users, their families and other staff or visitors to the building. They will be responsible for operating the air lock system.

Monday to Thursday 13.15 to 17.00

Friday 12.15 till 16.00.
