This post would be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in making a difference to the people of Barnsley and supporting the public healths smoke free agenda.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team. If you have good people skills, the ability to support and motivate others and work well in a team setting, we would like to hear from you.
You will be expected to work evenings on a rota basis and due to the nature of the post you will be a current non-smoker.
Although it is desirable to have an accredited Stop Smoking Intermediate Level 2 qualification or the equivalent NCSCT level 2 qualification, full training in smoking cessation and behaviour change techniques will be provided.

We are happy to accept applications from candidates who can prove their right to work in the UK or via alternative visa routes. Such applications will be considered alongside all other applications.
Main duties of the job

Providing support to stop smoking is crucial in addressing health inequalities and you will play an important role in tackling these. With an understanding of the wider determinants of health, you will empower people to make positive changes to their health and wellbeing.
You will be encouraged to contribute to how the service improves and develops keeping things fresh and interesting.
