An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant role to join Barnsley Adult Community Learning Disabilities Health Service.
You
will join an experienced, well-established and committed specialist
multi-disciplinary team who are based in Barnsley. The Team consists of a
comprehensive multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, clinical
psychologists, learning disability nurses, occupational therapists,
physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, dietician, therapy
assistants and healthcare support workers. The Team work together to support
individuals age 18 and over with diagnosed learning disabilities and their
families/carers.
At
the time of advertising, this role does not meet the minimum requirements set
by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK. For this
reason, we are unable to sponsor anyone for a skilled worker visa for this role.
We
are happy to accept applications from candidates who can prove their right to
work in the UK or via alternative visa routes. Such applications will be

Main duties of the job
You
will be an enthusiastic individual who upholds the

will be under the supervision/direction of the Administrative Supervisor,
within a delegated framework for agreed tasks, be aware of and able to
undertake the basic, routine admin/communication requirements of the service.
Provide a confidential service to clinical/support services, in an efficient
manner.

clinical environments where basic conflict resolution may be required.
You should be able work
flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
You
will develop and maintain good working relationships by being flexible,
adaptable, polite, positive and empathetic providing and receiving routine
information.
