to recruit a Stop Smoking Advisor to work in the Yorkshire Smoke free Doncaster
service. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our motivated team who are enthusiastic

We are seeking for applicants with stop smoking advising
qualifications & experience, with knowledge of supporting people though a
combination of behaviour change & the use of pharmacotherapy in a variety
of intervention settings. You will have experience of delivering various
treatment intervention, either on a one to one or group basis. We also encourage
applicants to apply who do not have the relevant qualifications & are
willing to undertake them.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will deliver stop smoking
intervention out in the community of Doncaster. This involves delivering
evidence base specialist behavioural support which combines pharmacotherapy
treatment regime delivered as one to one or group basis. Interventions are
delivered face to face, virtual or telephone support.
Your role requires to maintain accurate patient records, responsibility
managing & coordinating assigned patient caseloads clinics & administrative
duties. You will have the ability to navigate various computer systems have
excellent communication & interpersonal skills along with the ability to
work collaboratively with stakeholders, service users & carers. Other
aspects involve promoting the service including national & local campaigns
via various social media platforms & other promotional activities. Working pattern includes day, flexible
approach to cover, post funded March 2026 with potential additional funding .
