1 x 24.75 hours per week
An
opportunity has arisen for a part-time band 3 support worker within the core
community mental health team Barnsley. The service operates Monday-Friday
9am-5pm. You will be working in a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
You will
be working predominantly out in the community and have a caseload of clients
with varying mental health difficulties. Each of your clients will have an
allocated Lead Professional which will work alongside you to develop a care
plan. You will be expected to deliver interventions such as anxiety management,
graded exposure, improving mood and social activity. You will also be expected
to liaise with other parts of statutory services as well as third sector
organisations and support your clients to engage with these services.

Main duties of the job
Main
duties will include working alongside the lead professional and develop a plan
of care for clients with varying mental health needs.
Delivering
1 to 1 interventions such as anxiety management, graded exposure, managing and
improving mood, emotion regulation and improving social activity.
You will
be expected to complete relevant documentation within clinical records and use
computer systems such as System 1.
You
will be expected to attend regular MDT meetings and liaise with other health
professionals on a regular basis.
