You will join our team of administration
and clerical officers who are excellent at their jobs as well as friendly and
supportive. We work as part of the
Barnsley community adult and childrens speech and language therapy service.
We hold regular team meetings,
supervision, mentoring and CPD opportunities.
We are committed to pastoral care of staff.
You will be office based and also have
opportunity to work agily.. The work is
varied with contact with service users by phone and email, members of the
speech and language therapy team and other professionals.

Main duties of the job
The main duties
of the post are:
To provide a comprehensive,
efficient and confidential administrative support to the clinical services
under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisors
To contribute and inform
decision making within the service based on good understanding of service
provision
To
act as principal point of contact for service users and other professionals
To work
with sensitivity and
have a good understanding of
service provision and issues
experienced by its users.
To develop and maintain good
working relationships by being flexible, adaptable, polite, positive,
empathetic and communicating effectively and informatively

own tasks, exercising a degree of independence,
