Are you a forward-thinking Staff Nurse looking
to move into the exciting area of specialist Neuro Rehabilitation? If so, we are looking for full and part time employees to
join our Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (NRU) at Kendray Hospital.
The NRU is a 12 bedded local specialist rehabilitation
unit that provides a neurological rehabilitation service which enables patients
with long term neurological conditions including patients with an acute injury
or episode, to access rehabilitation that is coordinated, timely &
responsive to patient needs.
Staff Nurses will work in partnership with a multi professional team contributing to
the ongoing assessment, providing care & monitoring the condition & health
needs of patients on a continual basis in partnership with the
multi-professional team.

part of this process and will be essential to improving service delivery.

Main duties of the job
As Staff Nurse on our specialist NRU you will
Undertake comprehensive health care needs
assessment.
Work within a multi-professional team.
Contribute actively to the rehabilitation
process working alongside therapy colleagues.

Provide high standards of nursing care as
defined by the patients care plan, reviewing & updating when care needs
change & evidence this.
Act as a practice supervisor, to nursing
assistants & students to support their learning/development.

knowledge providing holistic person-centred care & support.

To support ward sister & manager by contributing
to the day to day running of the ward to ensure high standards of quality
care is delivered which adequately meet the expectations of patients and
carers and to ensure privacy and dignity is maintained.
