Job summary
The role is to become a member of the multi-disciplinary team working together to assess, review and offer pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for people with Dementia, that have been through the diagnostic process. The client group will be people going through their journey within their condition and their presentation may have changed due to a variety of reasons including Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia.
The candidate should have a knowledge of the symptoms associated with dementia and how this may affect people days to day life and the additional support that they and they carers will require.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work within the multi -disciplinary team to assess people experiencing dementia in both the community and care home settings.
Offer pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, review these and offer advice and support as necessary.
To supervise junior members of staff within their role.
Work with the whole team to find new ways of working and innovative practice to meet the needs of the client and their carers.
