Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for
a 12 month Secondment into the Complex and Emotional Needs Pathway {Job Share
Considered} in Barnsley within the CORE Pathway. We are looking for motivated
staff with an interest in delivering and developing interventions for clients
referred into the Pathway.
The role will require the successful applicant{s} to
support colleagues in expanding their skills and knowledge and also promoting
the delivery of Complex and Emotional Needs within Barnsley.

Main duties of the job
To work autonomously within
professional guidelines and exercise responsibility in accordance with the
Trust Policies and procedures
The post-holder will have highly developed skills in assessing the
needs of the client based on the analysis of highly complex facts and
situations. Interventions will be
planned based on the assessment information and interpretation of this
(formulation). Offering highly
specialist expertise in trauma / personality disorder and associated mental health needs,
ensuring clear documentation in all appropriate case notes and sharing
assessments and information with the family and all relevant professionals.
To
undertake highly specialist initial assessments following acts of serious self-harm
and attempted suicide in line with evidence based practice.
To undertake highly
specialised risk assessments following referral for presentations requiring
urgent mental health or psychiatric assessment and plan relevant
interventions.
