Job summary
Are you looking for a new and rewarding progressive career in Children and Young people's Mental Health Services? Well, Barnsley CAMHS Crisis and intensive home-based treatment team (Locality wide), are looking to recruit a Clinical Lead into our amazing team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership in the team, providing supervision and support to the staff. You will be an effective leader, working alongside the team manager, psychiatrist, and the wider leadership team. You will work with colleagues in developing the service, monitoring, audit and improving the quality of care provided.
Our team provides Crisis support to young people who are experiencing mental health crisis and emotional distress, we offer extended crisis support to young people at risk of hospital admission. It can be fast paced, and the candidate will be organised and self-motivated to provide high quality assessment and formulation for the young people open to our service.
Staff wellbeing is at the heart of Barnsley CAMHS and our recent staff survey results reflects this you will be supported to flourish in your role and have access to regular managerial and clinical supervision.
Main duties of the job
Barnsley (CAMHS) Crisis Team and Intensive home-based treatment team provides a 7-day service to young people and their families. If you have a passion and a strong interest in children and young people as a clinical speciality and if you are committed to multidisciplinary working, then we are interested in hearing from you. The successful applicant will be asked to work an agreed shift pattern, across the service provision covering the Barnsley locality, our base is central to the town centre. We function as a locality team. We are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, energetic, and motivated and who is passionate about improving the lives and mental health of our young people.
