Job summary
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic band 6 Community Dietitian to join our busy, friendly and forward-thinking Community Nutrition and Dietetic service on a permanent basis.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian to join our community team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for ensuring quality, timely dietetic support for community patients who may be seen in their own homes or general community clinics across Barnsley. The post covers an exciting caseload which will be predominantly nutrition support (including some home enteral feeding), in addition to a varied general clinic caseload including some GI conditions.
We are looking for someone who works well both independently and within a team and demonstrates effective time management skills and excellent communication skills. Prioritisation is also a key skill required to carry out this job role.
We are pleased to support Student Dietitians in our service, and part of this role involves the training and mentoring of students on clinical placement with us.
