South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will be hosting a healthcare career pathways event onMonday 30 June, 4-7pmin the wellbeing and learning centre at Fieldhead Hospital, Ouchthorpe Lane, Wakefield, WF1 3SP.
The careers event is the ideal chance for aspiring support workers and entry level allied health professionals (AHPs) to find out more about the exciting opportunities available at the Trust, including:
- Forensic, mental health and learning disability nursing
- Healthcare support worker
- Adult nursing and physical health
- Podiatry
- Dietetics
- Speech and language therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Physiotherapy
Main duties of the job
Anyone aged 17 and over is invited to the open evening to find out about roles and apprenticeships available and learn more about working in healthcare. Come and meet the teams, ask questions, and discover where a future with the Trust could take you.
The event is free to attend, with free parking available on site. Parents, carers and teachers are welcome (u18s should be accompanied by an adult). The Mental Health Museum will also be open during the event for attendees to visit and explore the mental health exhibits on site.
