Assess, plan implement and evaluate evidenced based nursing care plans.
Assist and support clinics for follow up examinations and treatment adhering to clinical policies and protocols within Urology investigations Unit
Assist in the management and organisation of the clinical area.
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with the multi-disciplinary team.
Be computer literate with the clinic system.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and clinical guidelines for self and others.
Continually monitor standards of care and contribute to improvements of care through benchmarking audit and research.
Participate in patient and public involvement activities.
Support peoples equality diversity and rights.
Comply with the data Protection act and Caldicott recommendations.

Main duties of the job
Assisting with all urology procedures performed with in Urology investigations unit
Covering clinics/ Units for annual leave and sickness
Running nurse led urology clinic
Complex catheterisations
set up and clean down of unit
