Domestic Assistants support the Trust
to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff,
and visitors.
Working to the National Standards of
Cleanliness and Trust policy and procedures this role will involve general
cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

Previous experience of working in a

We have available various shifts patterns to suit your availability and it will enable you to enjoy a work-life balance.
Monday to Friday :
37.5 hours per week - 06.00am to 14.00pm
36.25 hours per week - 07.30am to 15.30pm
30 hours per week - 14.00pm to 22.00pm
20 hours per week - 09.00am to 13.00pm
15 hours per week - 17.00pm to 20.00pm
Saturday to Sunday
11 hours per week - 06.00am to 11.30am
6 hours per week - 17.00pm to 20.00pm
15 hours per week - 14.00pm to 22.00pm
*Pay is pro-rata for all part-time positions
Main duties of the job
The Domestic Assistant is responsible for general cleaning duties in all areas including clinical sanitary areas and administration areas in accordance with cleaning procedures and standards that are specified in Trust and department manuals. An outline of duties will include daily cleaning of floors, damp dusting, cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, ward kitchens and kitchen equipment. Domestic Assistants will also assist with serving beverages. Duties will also include the changing , cubicle curtains and disposal and segregation of refuse

- Damp dusting fixtures and fittings.
- Cleaning of sanitary areas (toilets and
bathrooms).
