An exciting opportunity has become available to join The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust within the Security and Car Parking Department where you will provide an effective and efficient car parking service for Pinderfields, Pontefract and Dewsbury
Hospitals.
Amongst many duties including word processing, drafting general correspondence, all car park administration and dealing with users of the car park you will also support the Car Parking Manager ensuring that all documentation is collated for monthly performance reviews.

This is a full time position. The hours are 37.5 per week, working on Monday to Friday from 08.00am to 16.00pm.
Main duties of the job
General duties will include word processing, spreadsheets, drafting
general correspondence, reports and highly confidential documentation and all
car park administration to run an effective service. The Post Holder, working
under their own initiative will support the Security and Car Parking Manager in
the planning & implementation of change to improve the administration
service and operational quality and dealing with users of the car park.
The Post Holder will support the Security and Car Parking Manager by
ensuring appropriate documentation is collated for monthly performance reviews.
The Post Holder will ensure routine correspondence receives a reply in
a timely manner and ensure that telephone enquiries are dealt with in a
friendly and professional manner, taking messages and answering routine
queries.

- Provide
a front-of-house service within the Car Parking office for users of the Car
Park. Acting at all times in a courteous and polite manner in this
important customer facing role.
- Maintain
the parking permit database in line with agreed procedures. Liaise with MYT
General Office and customers to carry out all parking permit administration.
- Liaise
with other departments and subcontractors to ensure Car Parking and Security
equipment (including uniforms etc.) are maintained as required, consumables are
ordered and distributed following the prescribed procedures, finally ensuring
that stock levels are maintained.
- Provide
remote assistance (as part of a team) to Car Park users in the event of equipment
malfunction.
- Responsibility
for reconciling cash and card payments collected in the Car Parking Office on a
daily basis, including the generation of a card payment received report for
audit purposes.
- Maintain
a register of parking tickets issued, and administer payments and reminder
letters.
- Provide
administration assistance to the Car Parking Appeals Process and monitor car
parking feedback.
- Administer
Day Tickets and Concessionary Tickets where appropriate and ensure correct
payments are taken.
- Provide management
information from system generated reports for the weekly and monthly
performance monitoring of the car parking service.
