As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our patients, staff and visitors.
Working in accordance with National Standards of Cleanliness and Trust policies, you'll be responsible for general cleaning duties in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

Main duties of the job
The Domestic Assistant is responsible for
maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the Trust, adhering to
established cleaning procedures and standards. Duties encompass various areas,
including clinical, sanitary and administrative spaces.

Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning:
Conduct thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping and
polishing as required.
Dusting: Perform damp dusting of surfaces and
furniture to remove dust and allergens.
Sanitary Areas: Clean
and disinfect toilets and bathrooms ensuring a high level
of hygiene.
Beverage Service:
Assist in serving beverages to patients.
Curtain and Refuse Management:
Change cubicle curtains regularly and dispose of refuse appropriately,
ensuring proper segregation.
