Job summary

The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust Estates Department are recruiting Estates Maintenance Worker to join our team and to deliver a range of planned work.

To work within the Estates Department to ensure Buildings, Plant and Equipment provide a safe environment for Patients, Staff and Visitors.

You will need to provide an excellent level of customer care , communication and flexibility when completing work which supports the Trusts Clinical services and patient care.

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.00am to 16.00pm.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry out repairs, minor planned installations and maintenance work on a wide range of Equipment, Services, Buildings and Plant.

Appendix 1 provides details of typical duties for the post holder.

The post holder will ensure all reports and documentation are completed in compliance with the Departments Workforce Planning Portfolios and Quality system.

The post holder will comply with Safe Systems of work as operated by the Estates Department, together with Statutory Regulations such as Health & Safety, COSHH etc.
