currently seeking enthusiastic and caring registered nurse who have excellent
communication skills to join our dynamic combined Interventional Radiology, Cardiology and Fluoroscopy department.
We provide a comprehensive range of Cardiac
and Vascular diagnostic and interventional services, Cardiac and Vascular Angiography, Percutaneous
Coronary Intervention (PCI) including Pressure Wire assessment, Intravascular
Ultrasound and Rotablation, Permanent Pacemakers,
Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) and Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) devices, pericardiocentesis, as well as Vascular and non-Vascular
interventions; Peripheral Angioplasty, Line Placements, Urology and
Gastrointestinal procedures.
The role includes scrubbing and
circulating during procedures and rotation into the day case/recovery area to
expand knowledge of caring for patients post procedure and post sedation.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Interventional Radiology, Cardiology Fluoroscopy.
The
primary aim of the role is to provide effective patient centred care by
performing individual assessment of care needs, developing, implementing and
evaluating programmes of care that meet the needs of the patient and their
families/carers. The role is
multidimensional and requires the post holder to integrate and fulfil all the
identified dimensions. As a registered
nurse all activities provide opportunities for acting as a role model for
staff. Following their preceptorship
period the registered nurse is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care
without direct supervision.
