Job summary

By keeping the Trust values at the heart of everything we do, we work closely with divisional teams to support end-to-end recruitment processes for vacant positions. We have developed a strong pipeline of international candidates and take care to ensure all new starters to the organisation are well supported. We also partner with regional stakeholders to design and deliver recruitment programmes to diversity routes of employment into the organisation for our local community.

Supporting with the end to end recruitment process, you will need to have exceptional customer service skills when dealing with recruiting managers and applicants alike; enjoying being the first point of contact into the recruitment team. You will require organisational skills and be computer literate to carry out administration duties that supports departmental targets under the direction of team leaders and agreed work plans.

Please note, the working hours per week for this role is 27 hours.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide a meet and greet service to the department, taking accurate messages, responding appropriately, and passing information on in the appropriate manner.

Candidates will produce letters using standard templates or adapting as appropriate. Maintaining data quality at all times, ensuring accurate information is recorded onto Trust Electronic Systems.

Cleansing of employee records, scanning relevant documentation on to CITO, the Trusts employee records system.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that information is kept up to date and relevant
  • Provide admin and clerical support to the Recruitment Team, including word processing, data input and reports, faxing, photocopying, scanning, opening of mail and typing/processing of documents, along with other general administrative duties as required
  • To deal with telephone and face to face enquiries from members of the public, managers and staff. Provide information and advice to managers, employees and applicants within the boundaries of the role

  • With direction and instruction to collect information required for statistical analysis and to collate information for forwarding to the Trust committees. To record and input onto the computer any relevant data as directed by the Supervisor
  • To be actively involved in maintaining data quality at all times, ensuring accurate information is recorded on the Trust Electronic Systems
  • To assist in maintaining adequate supplies of stock items where appropriate
  • To provide cover for colleagues as required and to ensure the continued smooth running of the service
