Nursing Associates work as a vital part of the wider nursing team and this important role helps to bridge care between Healthcare Support Workers and Registered Nurses. This is a 2 year Apprenticeship and at the end of your Apprentice Nursing Associate training, you will receive a foundation degree, and once you register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, you will become a fully registered Nursing Associate.

Main duties of the job

You are applying for our next programme which commence in January 2024

Following your initial application, you may be invited to attend an assessment centre and interview during the week beginning 9th October 2023 where you will be asked to provide original certificates of your Maths and English qualifications. If you don't have these, you will not be able to attend.

You must have a minimum of 6 months recent experience in a healthcare setting delivering direct patient care.

If successful and offered a place on the course, you will be fully supported by the Trust, with paid employment as an apprentice during your studies and Level 5 Course fees paid

Upon successful completion of your studies, you will be guaranteed a permanent job with the Trust as a Nursing Associate.

Due to the huge popularity of the programme, this advert may close early, please ensure that you have registered your interest by submitting your application as soon as possible.

There is an eligibility criterion for government funded apprenticeships which requires the applicant to be aged 16+ and be a resident in the UK for the last three years. Applicants cannot have achieved a qualification at level 5 or above in the same pathway as this will exempt them from being able to undertake the apprenticeship.
