Plastic Surgery Registered Nurse

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full & part time post for experienced Registered Nurses within the Plastic Surgery Department Gate 28 & 28c. You will be working alongside Plastic Surgeons and other Nursing staff in the Plastic Surgery Ward and the Plastic Surgery Assessment Unit.
You will take charge of the department on either days or nights.
Main duties of the job
You will work 11.5 hour shifts directly looking after patients on the ward or Assessment unit.
You will work to support the Nursing Associates and Clinical Support Workers within your team.
You will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of all aspects of patient centred care using current evidence based practice including: Medicine administration, pre, peri & post op care of patients, simple and complex dressings and discharge planning. You will also assist in our on unit major treatment room in which our Surgeons carry out local anaesthetic procedures.
