An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse within the Gynaecology Outpatients trust wide.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Gynaecology outpatients team to work across all 3 sites (Dewsbury, Pinderfields and Pontefract). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic environment where you will assist in delivering high-quality care to women attending for a variety of outpatient procedures and consultations which includes clinics such as General Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Urogynaecology and Hysteroscopy.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting outpatient clinics (e.g., assisting consultants and specialist nurses) including General Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Urogynaecology and Hysteroscopy.
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Delivering health education and advice
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Ensuring infection control and safety standards
- Chaperoning during intimate examinations
- Supporting minor procedures
- working within the Nurse led Clinics.
