Early Intervention Team Manager

Job summary

To provide support to the service manager to meet the aims and objectives of the service including deputising and delegated responsibilities.

To provide support to the service manager in the effective day to day management of the team within the resources available and agreed governance frameworks

To review staffing levels and skill mix as necessary.

To be responsible for the leadership, mentorship and support of staff on a daily basis

To manage and provide management / clinical supervision to staff under your line management

Work within the infection control agenda to improve standards

Improving environments for patients

Work with patients and their carer/relative in addressing concerns by building closer relationships

To promote partnership working with patients, carers and stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

You will be operationally responsible for the day to day management of this team; you must demonstrate a flexible approach evolving around the needs of service users, their families and significant others. You will be responsible for ensuring the team meets the standards expected and delivers a high quality of care.

  • RNMH or Social Worker
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Professional registration role.

Experience

  • Experience at band 6 or band 7 level in community mental health services.
