First Friends Group Drop-in Volunteer - North Lincolnshire

Job summary

The purpose of this role is to support the First Friends Drop in Sessions across North Lincolnshire. The right candidate will be supported to attend in person drop in on a monthly basis. There may be some practical aspects to the role, such as supporting session preparation (refreshments, crafts etc.) and there may be opportunity to attend more than one drop in across Doncaster.

Main duties of the job

  • Attend appropriate drop in sessions in North Lincolnshire as agreed with the Nursery Nurse
  • Support with refreshments and session activity where appropriate
  • Listen actively and provide encouragement
  • Help and assist with setting up the room for drop in sessions
  • Welcome new group members and help them feel included
