First Friends Group Drop-in Volunteer - Doncaster

Job summary

The purpose of this role is to support our First Friends Delivery across Doncaster. The right candidate will be supported to attend in person on a weekly basis or as and when required. There may be some practical aspects to the role, such as supporting session preparation (refreshments, crafts etc.) and there may be opportunity to attend more than one drop in across Doncaster.

Main duties of the job

• Attend appropriate First Friends sessions across Doncaster
• Support with refreshments and session activity where appropriate
• Listen actively and provide encouragement
• Help and assist with setting up the room for drop in sessions
• Welcome new group members and help them feel included
