We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Manager to shape the future and lead delivery of our Older Peoples services. As a key member of the directorate leadership team, you will have an integral role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Older Peoples services. If you are a strong leader with experience of managing diverse teams and resource to improve patient outcomes, we would love to hear from you. You will need to have a proven track record of accomplishment in service improvement and innovative practice to continue to drive the Older Peoples agenda forwards as well as the ability to support colleagues to deliver the best services possible. We are working hard to empower our communities within RDaSH, therefore a passion for community working and experience of community networking would also be desirable.

You'll play an active role in shaping our research agenda. We support staff to publish, present at conferences, and collaborate with internal and external research partners.

Main duties of the job

The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of designated clinical services and ensuring that those teams are performing in terms of patient outcomes, metrics, measures and targets.

They are also accountable for making sure that the Trust's strategy is executed locally and that standards of safety are maintained at all times.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that is consistent with the values of the organisation.
